With an abundance of experience in the food industry and a passion for customer service, I was most recently the Director of the VIP division at Dnata Catering which supplies upscale catering to small and large cabin aircraft to all airports between Boston and Newark, as well as Chartered Aircraft that included major sports teams, foreign dignitaries, and celebrities who choose to fly privately in the United States and abroad. I have managed Domino's pizza, Pelican pizza, Foster's Freeze, & Wendy's. I have waited tables at Denny's and Cracker Barrel. I have managed banquets at the Providence Marriott handling weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, political, corporate, and charity events for 500 or more. I have driven a school bus when my kids were pre-school age and then went into furniture sales/management while they were in high school. I did get my Real Estate license in 2008, not a good time to try that…
I was thinking of coming back to help take care of my mother in North Hero. Wondering what I would do here, my cousin mentioned that Wally's Place was in need of a new owner. Not realizing how fast that needed to happen, this deal was put together in record time so Wally's would not close or miss a beat. I gave my two weeks notice and quickly learned how to make bagels…
Not afraid to try new things and will do whatever it takes. That is just the way it is.
